My friend Liz's little boy turned 2 on Halloween! I mentioned the spider I made for his spidery themed birthday party and here is is! I'm so smitten with this little guy! He was kind of inspired by Ann Wood's wire-legged spiders, which are so fantastic!
I feel sad that Halloween is over already! It felt like I was just getting into it this year, and then it was over! We actually had two trick or treaters! In the six years we've lived in our house, we've never had a single trick or treater. So now I feel more motivated for next year to do up the house. Our house kind of has a spooky vibe on its own, so I think we could make it really fun and creepy!
such a sweet little spider! congrats on the the two trick or treaters! I only had 4. I would love to get lots. but I live in the country and I just dont think theyre coming my way! lol
Oh well, I've often thought about putting a tent up somewhere in town and decorating it all crazy for halloween, then dressing up to hand out candy to the hundreds of kids that come by! doesnt that sound like fun!?
have a great week

We love him!!! Our party invites requested guests to bring a spider just to add to the Halloween fun and this is what Jenn brought. amazing.
I'll have to think of another must-bring next year :)
I adore your work. Thank you.
